About us

Hi! I'm Sinéad. As a child, I lived for competing in local Speech and Drama festivals, passing my graded Speech and Drama examinations, participating in debating competitions and musicals at school and taking part in shows with amateur dramatic societies. Time for me to guide others in the same direction and ignite the same passion in them!

Passion For Performance

In my view, the thrill and the buzz of performing simply cannot be matched, whether it is a serious and powerful Shakespearean piece or something more modern and comical like a Veruca Salt  monologue!

Last year, I decided to enter my five-year-old daughter into a competition at Banbridge  Performing Arts Festival which she won and I really enjoyed teaching her. It struck me then that I really should focus all of my energies into teaching other children and sharing my passion for Speech and Drama!

I received my training from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and New Era Academy and my classes cater for children between the ages of 3 and 14. I teach the New Era syllabus and enter the children into graded examinations as well as the local Speech and Drama festivals.

I have received great support from the local community and further afield for my new venture and I am so grateful to everyone for their continued support.

So, if you want your child to gain more confidence, develop better public speaking skills, grow an appreciation of literature and, most importantly, to have great fun, contact me today!

Testimonial

Sinead is fabulous with all the children and makes learning so much fun.

My child  is so enthusiastic about learning her pieces and really looks forward to her class every week.

Events & Workshops

Pupil of the Month

Our pupils work hard every month in the hope of clinching our much-coveted Pupil of the Month certificate which demonstrates talent, reflects improvement and shows that the pupil is making real progress!

Banbridge Library Intergenerational Poetry and Pancakes

Our pupils attend this fantastic event once every term where they have the opportunity to recite a poem in front of a small audience and to listen to others performing. And, there are pancakes, of course! The last event on 9th May was extremely well attended and all of the children performed beautifully for their parents and peers and listened to poetry-lovers of all ages!
